EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)

  • Prohibited Behavior: The company strictly forbids the use, possession, or sale of illegal drugs or alcohol, or being under the influence while on company property, in vehicles, or during company activities.

  • Policy Violations: Violations can lead to immediate termination, though the company may offer other disciplinary actions, such as referring employees to the EAP for counseling and treatment.

  • Voluntary Assistance: Employees are encouraged to seek help voluntarily before job-related problems arise. The company will provide confidential referrals for counseling and offer rehabilitation opportunities when feasible.

  • Conditions for Continued Employment: Employees who receive help through the EAP may be subject to conditions such as periodic and unannounced drug tests and compliance with counselor recommendations.

The goal of the EAP is to support employees' rehabilitation
while retaining them as productive members of the workforce whenever possible.
