Sleeve Fiberglass Chopping – Superior has over a dozen years of experience in working in the chopping industry.  Over this period, Superior has manufactured polyurethane and rubber chopping cots and backup rolls as well as polyurethane and steel knife holder components.  Our participation in problem solving efforts with companies like PPG and GAF has allowed us to detail the performance of several materials within different chopping applications and to understand what property enhancements can be made to polyurethane to provide the longest lasting wear part in specific applications.

Bridge Construction- Superior has had the opportunity to work with some of the more prominent bridge bearing manufacturers in the industry.  An ability to bond two polyurethane materials together as well as an advanced polyurethane machining capability has led to the development of new products and increased sales for our customers.

Specialty products or applications – Superior has been asked to provide engineered elastomer products for custom high-wall mining machines, caster assemblies that are used in the aerospace industry, and we manufacture several components used in the oil industry.  Our engineering expertise has also given us the opportunity to test materials in industries such as sporting goods, agriculture, electronics.
